DISQUS plugin

DISQUS plugin allows DISQUS users to comment on DJ-Catalog2 items.
This plugin comes free with the subscription of the extension.
You'll find it installed (you may need to enable it manually) after the extension's installation. Alternatively, it's available in the downloads section (available for active subscribers).

Setting up the plugin

To enable DJ-Catalog2 Disqus comments, open Components → DJ-Catalog2 → Options.



Choose the General Settings tab and go to "Social sharing & commenting." Infield "Import Facebook SDK," select No, in field "Comments" select "DISQUS."



Short description:
  • Social buttons code – paste your own code that displays social/share buttons etc.
  • Social buttons position – choose where your custom code should appear.
  • Social code pages – select on which pages should the social buttons code appear.
  • Comments – select what kind of comments should be displayed.
  • Import Facebook SDK – it is required by Facebook Comments if they are enabled. Disable this if your website imports Facebook API in some other way
  • DISQUS name – enter your website's DISQUS short name (without .disqus.com)
  • Footer  – display Design-Joomla.EU footer
