FrontPage module

The DJ-Catalog2 FrontPage module allows displaying the product's thumbnails and a short description of the selected product. This module is based on Ajax technology and works in an imposing way. The thumbnail dimensions you can set in the component configuration under the Image Processing Configuration tab.

Let's take a look at the module parameters:


  • Max width – enter max-width
  • Show title – if set to 'Yes,' the product title is shown.
  • Link title – is set to 'Yes,' product title is linked.
  • Show category name – if set to 'Yes,' the category name is shown.
  • Show producer – if set to 'Yes,' the producer is shown.
  • Show price – if set to 'Yes,' the price is shown.
  • Navigation – select the type of navigation.
  • Order by – select the products thumbnails order
  • Order direction – choose the direction of the products .ordered
  • Featured only – if set to Yes, the featured products are shown only
  • Featured first – if set to Yes, the featured products are shown first
  • Categories – select the category you want to display products from
  • Select categories – you can select specific categories. Hold CTRL to select more than one category.
  • Thumbnail columns – enter the number of columns you want to create for thumbnails.
  • Thumbnail rows - enter the number of rows you want to create for thumbnails.
  • Large image process – choose if you want an image to be cropped or not.
  • Large image width/height – enter the dimensions (in pixels) of the large image displayed in the module.
  • Small image process – choose if you want an image to be cropped or not.
  • Small image width/height – enter the dimensions (in pixels) of the small image displayed in the module.
  • Intro text truncates – if set to Yes, the intro text is truncated.
  • Intro text length – enter a number limit of the intro text characters; leave 0 to display all characters.
  • Large image link – select how the image should be shown
  • Read-more button – if set to 'yes,' the read more button is displayed.
  • Read-more label – enter the label of reading more button.
