How to login to Joomla with Facebook and Google+

In this tutorial I'll show You how to configure up a website, so that you can log in to it using Facebook or Google+ account. I’ll use free "Social Login for Joomla!" extension. That extension supported: Facebook, Google, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Yahoo, PayPal, Foursquare, OpenID, LiveJournal, Steam, Wordpress.com, StackExchange, Windows Live, Disqus, Blogger, Github.com, Skyrock.com, VKontakte, Mail.ru. I’ll choose two of them, but in the same way you can configure all the others.

1. Installation

  • Upload the downloaded file
Go to Extension-> Manage, Choose file to upload (downloader earlier file) and click Upload & Install

            You should see that message:

2. Configuration
Go to Components-> OneAll Social Login and Click here to autodetect the API Connection Handler

You should see a message:

3. Log in https://app.oneall.com/signin/ If you don’t have an account in this site, sign up.

  • Click on Create a new OneAll Site

  • Set fields: adress of website, site name and domain name. Then click Create this Site

You should see a panel with Your API Access

  • Go again to Components-> OneAll Social Login and set your API Settings (values you’ll find in Panel Above) type your API Subdomain, API Public Key, API Private Key and Click here to verify the API Connection Settings

You should see a message:

  • Choose the social networks to use. I use Facebook and Google. Click Save

4. Log in https://app.oneall.com/signin/ and open Social Networks Tab. Configure social networks you want to use. If everything is OK, they will have a green border.

Follow the directions on the page, for each of social networks there are some differences.
5. When all social media you want will have a green border, go to Extensions -> Modules -> New

Choose OneAll Social Login

Type Title, Choose position and go to Menu Assignment Tab

Assign module to all page and click Save and Close.
