How to use DJ-League?

Installation

This plugin has to be installed like any other Joomla extension. 

Configuring the plugin

Let’s start the configuration of the plugin
Go to Extensions > Components and find the "DJ-League" component.  

Backend Administration

Control panel

It's a simple control panel where you can jump to the needed functionality:

Tournaments

You can add an unlimited amount of tournaments and configure each one per your needs.

Each tournament has these settings:

  1. Name
  2. Alias
  3. Round-Robin Rounds
  4. Score representation (Integer/Decimal)  
  5. Points for Win
  6. Points for Lose
  7. Points for Tie
  8. Description
  9. ID
  10. Created Date
  11. Created By

Seasons

You can add an unlimited amount of seasons and configure each one per your needs.


Each season has these settings:

  1. Name 
  2. Alias
  3. Description

Leagues

Here you can add an unlimited amount of leagues and configure each one per your needs.

The list of the leagues:


Each league has these settings:

  1. Tournament
  2. Season 
  3. Teams
  4. Round-Robin Rounds
  5. Score representation (Integer/Decimal)  
  6. Points for Win
  7. Points for Lose
  8. Points for Tie
  9. Description
  10. ID
  11. Created Date
  12. Created By

Teams

List of the teams in the backend: 
 

For each team you can set:

  1. Name
  2. Alias
  3. Upload a logo
  4. Type team's city
  5. See team's venue
  6. See the ID
  7. Set creation date
  8. Set creator user

Games

Games are created automatically after you set the League and Teams.

The list of games:  

You can edit each game once it's generated to add the results for example. For each Game you can edit: 


  1. League
  2. Round
  3. Game date
  4. Home team
  5. Away team
  6. City
  7. Venue
  8. Home team scores
  9. Away team scores
  10. Score note
  11. Winner
  12. Home team table points
  13. Away team table points
  14. Status
  15. Created date
  16. Created by

There are 2 module types you can use:

Games schedule module 


In this module you can set:
  1. Tournament
  2. Season
  3. Team (select one or select All teams)
  4. Schedule type (past games or future games)
  5. Limit (number of games to display)
  6. Show/hide team logo
  7. Show/hide game date
  8. Show/hide game venue
  9. Show/hide "See schedule" link 

Score table module 

 
  1. Tournament
  2. Season
  3. Highlighted team
  4. Round 
  5. Limit (number of games to display)
  6. Show/hide team logo
  7. Table columns
  8. Show/hide "See all" link
