How to use title tags in DJ-Classifieds

In DJ-Classifieds you have control on the titles of pages of ad’s details and categories or regions. In SEO settings of the component (DJ-Classifieds > Options > SEO), you can define the way of generating titles.

In the titles you can use tags as follows:

Item title (title of a page with ad’s details):

  • <item_name> - Title of the ad
  • <category_name> - name of category in which the ad is published
  • <category_path> - full path of category (for example home-furniture-beds)
  • <region_name> - name of the region
  • <default_title> - title taken from menu item

Category/Region title (title of a page with list of ads in a category or a region):

  • <default_title> - title taken from menu item
  • <category_name> - name of category in which the ad is published - works on category pages
  • <category_path> - full path of category (for example home-furniture-beds) - works on category pages
  • <region_name> - name of the region - works on region pages
  • <region_path> - full path of region (for example USA-Florida-Miami) - works on region pages

Tags should be separated by | sign.

Let’s make Item title like this:

<item_name>|<category_path>|<region_name>

In this case, the title of an exemplary ad will look like this:
Sunny Apartment - Apartments - Los Angeles
