MercadoPago DJ-Classifieds integration

Integrate DJ-Classifieds with Mercado Pago payment processing solution and receive payments from your customers.

MercadoPago is accepted by multiple platforms, including MercadoLibre, e-commerce, email, social network and so on.  It provides 50 payment methods. It's the leading online payment solution in Latin America. It has operations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.

This payment plugin comes free with DJ-Classifieds. You need to download, install, enable and configure it manually -  get it from the downloads section (available for active subscribers).

Backend installation

Install the plugin like any other Joomla extension.

Setup

After installation you need to setup the plugin.

  • Open Extensions and then choose Plugins
  • Find the Mercadopado plugin on the list
  • Open DJ-Classifieds MercadoPago payment plugin
    • Set status to "Enabled" - so the payment method is visible on frontend
    • Test mode - Choose whether you want to use it for testing purposes, or you're ready to work in a live environment.
    • Client ID - set your Mercadopago ID
    • Client secret - set your Mercadopago secret word
    • Currency Code - type currency code you want to work with: USD, ARS, BRL, MXN, VEN
    • Notification URL - copy and paste the following URL to your Mercadopago Account
  • Save & Close


Frontend usage

After a successful setup, the payment plugin will be visible for users willing to pay for DJ-Classifieds points and adding ads.

Mercado Pago will appear on the list of available payment methods:
