Creating a module
The DJ-Catalog2 Related Items is a module that allows displaying the products that are related to the currently displayed product in a module position.
To enable this module, navigate to Extensions → Modules → New.
Select DJ-Catalog2 Related Items position:
Module options
- Module Class Suffix – you can enter a class suffix to change the style of a module.
- Source – by default, only products actually assigned as 'related' will be shown on a product page. However, you can bypass this behavior and list products simply from the same category as the displayed product.
- Featured only – select yes if you want to display only featured products
- Featured first – select yes if you want to display first featured products
- Order – you can select the type of order
- Order direction – select if ordering should be ascending or descending.
- Count – the maximum number of items. 0 = no limit
- Show image – select yes if you want to display the image.
- Category name – displaying category name
- Producer name – displaying producer name
- Price – show price
- Description – display product description
- Truncate description – NOTICE!: turning on this option will remove all HTML tags from the description.
- Description length – product description limit
- Readmore – display Readmore.
- Location details – displays location details (address, etc.)
- Country – select if you want to display country.
- City – select if you want to display the city.
- Address – select if you want to display the address.
- Postcode – select if you want to display postcode.
- Phone no. – select if you want to display phone no.
- Mobile phone no. – select if you want to display mobile phone no.
- FAX no. – select if you want to display FAX no.
Advanced options
- Image process – choose if you want an image to be cropped or not.
- Image width, height – pixel dimensions (numeric value without 'px')
- Bootstrap columns – this requires your template to support Bootstrap 2.x styling. If you select a value greater than1', then product width and alignment/float settings will be ignored.
- Alignment/float – allows aligning module's items by adding 'float' property.
- Product width, height [px|%] – enter numerical, pixel or percent value. Eg. '120', '120px', '25%'. Leave empty to let product's container expand automatically
- Text align – select text-align
- Module Tag – the HTML tag for module
- Bootstrap Size – an option to specify how many columns the module will use
- Header Tag – the HTML tag for module header/title
- Header Class – the CSS class for module header/title
- Module Style – use this option to override the template style for its position.
