Yootheme template pages extension - new template from existing context
DJC2-YooTheme-Integration plugin allows detecting the current context of a page. Thanks to that option, You can easily change the template for a specific view.
For this example, we have created a basic menu that contains the Dj-Catalog2 Items View menu position.
Now we will navigate to the product view in YooTheme Builder:
You will see the default view for a Single Product. Click "New Template" in the builder panel.
You will see that page context is automatically selected:
If u don't select any position in the "Limit by categories" option, this template will be available for every product in the product view context. By selecting a category to which the product belongs, you can create different templates for products that belong to different categories.
You can limit the template for a product that is in a specific language by selecting a language in the Limit by language field.
Enter the name for this template and click the 'Save' button. You will see that a builder is now available for the new template.
DJC2-YooTheme-Integration plugin allows also to override a template and create a custom layout for products! Read more about the product layout feature.
